CG Preliminary Final: -A-g- -vs- |6P|

This Sunday 21st, live from Port Valdez and potentially from the GameStah studios, the dominant team of 1942 face the conquerors of 2142. Ag progressed last night with a comfortable yet hard fought win over Team7 whom packed quite a punch with solid facets of play however the first round Ag attack proved to much for 7 whose time expired at the beginning of the third phase.

Ahead we look toward 6P, and then most likely [tsw] of NZ who will be out to thwart our attempts and indeed the 12 copies of BF:BC2 in the inaugural BFBC tournament. In other brackets, big names just keep on falling to lesser likes with the much fancied (o)< crumbling to lesser competition whilst aK and 2142 friends FV have progressed into their preliminary finals. 6P presumably will have Binstar’s expertise and tactical nous in the armour with a solid core of infantrymen recognizable still from the early BF2 GA tournament.

The match is drawing attention from the community and is being billed as an epic, with Smiley and competition CEO Talnoy predicting tight, tight affairs. Nevertheless, we will go back to the drawing board in an attempt to construct something new to aid our efforts – GL HF.

tR showdown – CG Tournament Update

The CyberGamer tournament commenced earlier this week with Ag facing off against Team XFX / Frail with Ag coming away with a victory. This has set up a huge game against one-time foes Team Renegade whom became our bogey team of sorts when Ag dabbled into BF2 for small format tournaments.

Nevertheless, the fixture is this Monday (15/1) and the clan will attempt to blow tR off the map, attacking for this segment in the tournament. The confidence is high amongst the crew with punishing wins against all comers in recent scrims on attack and defense, we hope to add tR’s scalp and progress deeper into the tournament.

Around the grounds … The forums were rife with plentiful amounts of trolling and laughter at the elimination of kpro-esports outfits that apparently dominated their respective games. Within our bracket, no real surprises but teams that should be squaring off in finals will oppose each other this week opening the door for a darkhorse or two to shake up the latter stages of play.

Aside … GameArena have officially announced a small format (rush) money competition for which we may look at one or two experienced recruits to join the team. Inquire within.

*Update; Ag defeated tR by 58 tickets on attack, the victory has set up a quarter final meeting with Team7 on Wednesday @ 930.
